Getting great tasting, healthy meals at home doesn’t mean you have to order in every night. It also doesn’t mean you have to eat salad every day. Some simple, time saving tricks can help you eat healthy, great tasting meals every day of the week without spending hours in the kitchen.

Make a Grocery List
Before going to the market you need to make a meal plan. Once your meal plan is complete you can make a list of all the items you will need at the market. Make sure to stick to your list and get all of the items on it so you don’t waste time going back to the store again during the week.

Prepare Ahead
Take one day during the weekend, say Sunday, and prepare what you can for the week. This means you can pre-cook some of the items and then store them in the refrigerator, chop up the veggies and prepare any other items that may take some time during the week. Each day you can simply throw all of the prepared food together and heat it or pop in the oven and voila! You have a healthy meal in no time.

Preparing healthy food at home doesn’t mean you have to dedicate your life to the kitchen. With a little preparation you can actually make healthier foods in less time.
